BASIC RECORDING FEES :  
AMOUNT
Recording the first page of deeds of any kind, mortgages, & any other instrument (including oil & gas leases, assignments & releases) $8.00

Recording each additional page of the same instrument $2.00
25 legal descriptions allowed per page - legal descriptions must be sorted alphabetically if platted
and by township, range and section if unplatted.
 
Recording the 1st page of non-conforming documents $25.00
Recording each additional page of a non-conforming document $10.00

Records Preservation Fee for each Recorded document $10.00
Pages with over 25 legal descriptions per page (per description over 25) $1.00
DOCUMENTARY STAMP TAX - ($1.50 PER THOUSAND)
How to determine amount of Documentary Stamps due:
1. Divide sale price by $500 (Example: $59,549.00 /500=$119.10)
2. Round your answer upto the next whole number (Example $120)
3. Multiply this answer by 75 cents (Example $120 x .75-$90.00)
 
MORTGAGE TAX - PAID TO COUNTY TREASURER AMOUNT
Rates for mortgage tax on each $100.00 major fraction thereof:  
5 Years of More $.10 per hundred
4 Years & Less than 5 Years $.08 per hundred
3 Years & Less than 4 years $.06 per hundred
2 Years & Less than 3 years $.04 per hundred
Less than 2 years $.02 per hundred
For mortages less than $100.00 $.10 only
**There is a $5.00 Mortgage Certification Fee for each Mortgage

Example of mortgage tax:$75,876.00 mortage for 3 1/2 years  
$75,876.00/100=$758.76 (round answer up to next whole number)  
$759.00 x .06 = $45.54 (mortgage tax)
